The Directorate of Medical Education has taken cognizance of the complaint of Uttarakhand Congress spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni after the Chief Election Commission.
On 22 November 2023, Uttarakhand Congress chief spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni had sent a complaint letter with evidence and evidence to the Election Commission of India, Uttarakhand Election Commission and Rajasthan Election Commission regarding the election campaign by Ramkumar Sharma, an associate professor working in the Government Nursing College of Champawat district, campaigning in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party during the ongoing assembly elections in Rajasthan.
In response, an inquiry was ordered by the Assistant Chief Electoral Officer of the Chief Election Commission Uttarakhand to the Director Medical Education on 3 December 2023.
In this episode, on 6 December 2023, a letter was written by Joint Director Dr. HK Bandhu to Ramkumar Sharma to clarify and give a report.The report was sent by Ram Kumar Sharma to the Directorate of Medical Education on 9 December 2023.
After following up the case, it is revealed that on 18 December 2023Dr. Ashutosh Saina, Director Directorate of Medical Education has instructed the department to take appropriate action against Ram Kumar Sharma.Copy of all orders is enclosed.
