Since Diwali, 41 workers trapped in an under-construction tunnel in Uttarkashi are hoping to come out. All efforts are being made to get them out, but every time there is no success due to some obstacle. Today is the 17th day of the rescue.
Dehradun. A pipe has been pushed inside by manual drilling to pull out 41 labourers trapped in an under-construction tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. It is heartening to see workers through pipes. It is expected that the process of evacuating the workers can be started by this evening. If needed, doctors can also be sent to the tunnel.
The pipe will be checked before the rescue team workers get out. The workers and their families have also been alerted. Security forces and medical teams are on alert mode outside the tunnel.
