CBI issues notice to former CM Harish Rawat in Hospital

Dehradun. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat, who was admitted to Jollygrant Hospital after an accident, was today served a notice by the CBI to give a voice sample in the sting case. Harish Rawat has written a post on his social media about summoning him in the hospital.

In a social media post, Rawat expressed surprise. “Today, a very important institution came to Jollygrant Hospital to enquire about my health, #CBI’s friends came and served me a #नोटिस, so I was very surprised. I said that the day people are coming to the hospital to enquire about their health, the CBI must have felt that there is a greater threat to me, the integrity, unity, security and democracy of the country.

Former minister Harak Singh Rawat was also summoned by the CBI at his residence in connection with the sting case. MlAs Umesh Sharma and Madan Bisht have also been summoned.
