CM Dhami promises progress to minorities

On the occasion of World Minorities Rights Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today is a day to remember our fundamental duties for the protection and promotion of unity and integrity of India. The core of India’s unity and integrity is the commonality found in our cultural differences. This feeling of unity in diversity works to unite the country in the thread of unity. Our Indian culture has been about respecting all sects, sects. Religious unity is unparalleled in Uttarakhand and together we are moving towards progress.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s culture and strength is expanding all over the world. Efforts are being made to empower every section of the society in New India through the mantra given by him Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. He said that Uttarakhand has been the center of awakening of religious and spiritual consciousness. The state government is working with commitment for the development of every section. The government has set up a Minority Development Fund for economic and educational development in minority areas as per demand, under which an amount of Rs. 18 crore has been approved so far.

The Chief Minister said that the Central and State Governments have worked to solve public problems through various schemes including Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, construction of toilets under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Housing Scheme. Work is being done to implement the Uniform Civil Code in the state soon. He said that everyone will have to cooperate to make Uttarakhand a leading state in every field by 2025.
