CM Dhami gave another gift to the people of Champawat

In view of the vision of making Champawat district ideal, new dimensions are being created by the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami. Another gift has been given to the people of Champawat by the Chief Minister. On Friday, the Chief Minister flagged off a 42-seater Volvo bus from Dehradun in Tanakpur under his assembly constituency. With this, two Volvo buses have been added to the fleet of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation Tanakpur, Champawat. Earlier, the Chief Minister duly offered prayers to the bus at Jagbuda bridge in Banbasa.

After that, he traveled in a Volvo for about eight km from Jagbuda bridge to Tanakpur. With the introduction of Volvo service between Tanakpur and the capital Dehradun, people will get better facilities. People of Tanakpur and areas bordering Nepal will now be able to travel directly to the capital Dehradun by Volvo bus. This will facilitate traffic.

After flagging off the Volvo bus in Tanakpur on Friday, Chief Minister Dhami said that it is the priority of the state government to provide convenience to the public. People will get modern and comfortable transportation facility from Volvo bus service. The availability of Volvo bus service to Tanakpur will also bring new dimensions to the tourism scenario. The Volvo bus will leave Tanakpur for Dehradun at 8 pm daily and reach Dehradun at 5 am the next day. The second bus will leave from Dehradun for Tanakpur at 9 pm daily and reach Tanakpur at 6 am the next day.

He said that roadways bus terminal, depot workshop building, regional workshop building and tyre shop were being constructed at a cost of Rs 5590.70 lakh in Tanakpur town. Under this, the bus terminal to be built in Tanakpur city of the district will be equipped with modern facilities. These include bus terminal, air-conditioned waiting room with capacity of 100 persons under bus depot, food court with seating capacity of 100 persons, car parking with 170 vehicle capacity, 20 bedded male and female dormitories, boarding platform for 12 buses, bus parking facility for 24 buses, parking facility with electronic charging for 7 buses, workshop facility for 20 buses, shopping store, Restaurants, dispensaries, and cloth room facilities, male and female public toilets will be constructed.

The district will become ideal only when the district is equipped with every facility. To promote tourism, we have to give priority to the construction of a modern equipped bus stand, only then tourists and passengers coming from outside will be able to travel. With the construction of ISBT, along with increasing the means of employment, tourism will also be promoted.

On this occasion, BJP District President Nirmal Mahra, State Minister BJP Hema Joshi, District In-charge and State Minister BJP Vikas Sharma, District Magistrate Navneet Pandey, SP Devendra Pincha, MLA Representative Prakash Tiwari, Deepak Rajwar, BJP District General Secretary Mukesh Kalkhudia, Subhash Bagauli, Govind Samant, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation Regional Manager Pawan Mahra, Deputy Collector Akash Joshi, public representatives, distinguished citizens, Officials and the general public were present. Earlier, on the arrival of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, he was welcomed by the local people including party workers including the District Magistrate.
