Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s big statement has come out regarding UCC (Uniform Civil Code). CM Dhami says that the drafting committee has completed its work.
Draft committee complete:
CMThe term of the committee that drafted the Uniform Civil Code ends on January 22. CM Dhami says that the drafting committee has completed its work. The committee will submit its report to the government before the end of the term. After which UCC will be implemented.
Tenure has also been extended in the pastEarlier, the term of the committee was ending in September 2023. But the committee did not prepare the report at that time. Because of which the Dhami government had extended the tenure of the committee for four months.
UCC expected to be implemented by the end of January
Implementation of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand is included in the top priority of the state government. For this reason, the most important thing for the government at this time is to implement UCC in the state. It is now believed that UCC will be implemented by the end of this month.
