Congress chief spokesperson Garima Dasauni held a press conference at the party office today and accused an IFS rank officer of the Pollution Control Board of harassing women. Garima Dasauni has demanded action in this matter.
Congress chief spokesperson Garima Dasauni said that Sushant Patnaik, a member secretary of the Pollution Control Board, has harassed one of his juniors not once but several times. She is the daughter of former BJP MLA from Uttarkashi Gopal Singh Rawat.
Along with this, he said that a complaint has been made to the DGP of the state in writing by the daughter of former MLA from Uttarkashi. But even after complaining, no hearing was given to them. He has questioned whether Gopal Singh Rawat’s daughter’s screams will also remain unheard like Ankita Bhandari.
Garima Dasauni said that this is not the first case of female harassment against Sushant Patnaik. In fact, he has been accused many times before. Garima Dasauni said that the government should investigate the allegations against that officer and take action as soon as possible.
