Before the cabinet meeting began, condolences were expressed on the death of Sarwat Karim Ansari, who was an MLA from Mangalore, everyone observed a two-minute silence and paid tribute to the late MLA Sarwat Karim Ansari. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal and other ministers and officials were present in the cabinet meeting.

Sarwat Karim Ansari, who was admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore on Friday evening after his health deteriorated, was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi the same night after his health deteriorated. Sarwat Karim Ansari was twice elected MLA from Mangalore on a BSP ticket. Ansari had won the election on a BSP ticket in 2012 and again in 2022 on a BSP ticket.
