Vivek Bindra, the renowned international motivational speaker, has been accused of assaulting his second wife, leading to the filing of an FIR in Noida.
According to reports, Bindra allegedly locked the room and subjected his wife to brutal physical abuse, causing her eardrum to burst. The incident also involved Bindra verbally abusing and breaking his wife’s mobile phone. Yanika, the victim, got married to Vivek Bindra on December 6, and the incident occurred on December 8, leading to her admission to a private hospital in Delhi. Her brother, Vaibhav Kwatra, lodged a complaint against Vivek on December 14 at the Sector 126 police station.
The matter came to light when a video surfaced, showing Vivek Bindra engaged in a heated argument with his wife at their society’s gate. Vivek Bindra, the CEO of Big Business and a YouTube sensation with over 20 million subscribers, is now under scrutiny.
Vaibhav Kwatra, a resident of Chander Nagar, Ghaziabad, and Vivek Bindra’s brother-in-law, filed the FIR, narrating the events of December 8. According to the FIR, Vivek, in a dispute with his mother Prabha at 3 am, lashed out at his wife Yanika when she tried to intervene.
The FIR states that after the altercation, Vivek locked the room, subjected Yanika to abuse, broke her mobile, and inflicted wounds all over her body. Yanika, suffering from a head wound, was admitted to Kailash Deepak Hospital in Karkaddooma, Delhi, for treatment. Vaibhav revealed that Yanika informed her sister about the incident, leading to their visit to Yanika’s house and subsequent hospitalization.
Yanika is Vivek Bindra’s second wife, and he is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with his first wife, Geetika Sabharwal. Geetika had filed a complaint in Faridabad Central police station, alleging threats to her life. The divorce case is ongoing, with both parties seeking alimony. Vivek and Geetika share a son.
In February 2023, Vivek Bindra faced opposition after criticizing Morbi tiles in one of his videos. The Morbi Ceramic Tiles Association rejected his claims, prompting Vivek to remove the video due to protests.
A public dispute emerged between motivational speakers Sandeep Maheshwari and Vivek Bindra, with both YouTubers openly sharing videos accusing each other.
