SGRR University honors Srishti for state’s pride, hands over cheque of Rs 51 thousand

Dehradun. Srishti Bhardwaj, who made the state proud by winning the first prize in the National Youth Festival held in Nashik, Maharashtra, in solo dance, was honored by SGRR University Chancellor Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj.

Srishti is an alumni of Sri Guru Ram Rai University and Sri Darbar Sahib honored her in a program organized in the university describing it as pride for the university. Along with her father, Srishti paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and received blessings from Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj.

While interacting with Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj at Sri Darbar Sahib, Srishti shared the memories of the youth festival. He also explained the message and sentiments behind his performance on the Kumaoni song Ghasiari. Srishti completed her B.Sc. degree in the Department of Agriculture of Sri Guru Ram Rai University in the year 2017 to 2021. Agriculture and M.Sc. in the year 2023. Have completed the study of Agronomy. At the felicitation ceremony, Srishti Bhardwaj was honored with a cheque of Rs 51,000 (fifty one thousand) and a memento of Sri Darbar Sahib.

It is worth mentioning that there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the area including the family after Srishti got the first place at the national level. Srishti’s father is an ex-serviceman and mother a homemaker. They say that the way Srishti has illuminated the name of the state, their happiness has increased manifold.
